• Sindhi Institute of Management organized Digital Marketing training programme for two days in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) and MakeIntern.
• Mr. Pranav Nair, Mr. Pramatesh & Mr. Sreeharsha were the resource persons, trained more than 305 participants including students, research scholars and executives from industries.
• 15 participants were selected for the IIM-C CarpeDiem event held on 27th and 28th Jan, 2017.
• 5 students from our college were selected which was the highest selection in the southern region.
• Mr. Srinivas Goud, represented our college at IIMC in the final event.

• SIMS organized Guest Lecture on Derivatives. Dr. B. R. Rao., of Jain University, Bangalore was the resource person.
• The session was scheduled for 3 hours
• Dr. B. R. Rao gave insightful information on – Stocks and Commodities market functioning
• ‘Derivatives Simplified’ was the crux of session
• Mr. Srinivas Goud, represented our college at IIMC in the final event.

Training program on Investment Instruments

• SIMS organized a Hands on Training program on Investment Instruments, Risks & Returns associated stock markets.
• CS. K. Srinivasan, a practicing company secretary and investment consultant was the resource person.
• The session was conducted for 2 hours enlightening on bringing awareness about the investment avenues.

• SIMS organized a workshop on ‘Employability and Entrepreneurial Skills’
• Smt. Rashmi Vinay, Management Consultant, Bangalore was the trainer and facilitator for the session.
• Smt. Rashmi Vinay, gave intuitive information on the employment opportunities available, skills & competencies expected by the recruiters.
